2. ALIGNMENT FOR FM IF

a. Required Instruments:

FM IF Sweep Generator with scope

b. Alignment Procedure

Mode Adjustment Procedure

(1) Turn on the radio.

(2) Connect the input of FM IF sweep generator in series with a 1.2KΩ resistor to the TP2

and TP4.

(3) Connect the RF output of FM IF sweep generator to another TP1.

(4) Connect a 0.022µF ceramic capacitor to CR1 in parallel.

(5) Adjust T1 to have a max. output and best symmetrical curve with respect to the center

FM T2

archer frequency of 10.7MHz.
